The Chest Bubblegram was chosen as the mailer. Each cMicrosoft Business Solutions was targeting the Certified Professionals involved in their program to renew their memberships and had a supplied pen inserted. When the pen portion was torn on the perforation, it allowed the postcard to open and reveal their message. This inside message instructed the recipient to log on to the specified web site with their password and fill out the proper information for their renewal.
Results - This mailing was sent to 10,000 current members. It provided a gift that was certain to attract attention and had concise simple instructions for the renewal process. Mircrosoft loved the package. Most of all they were extremely pleased to see the renewal rate was high than that from a test package without the pen.
